Suniel Shetty revealed that his favourite cricketer is Virat Kohli and not KL Rahul, his son-in-law.

Actor Suniel Shetty's daughter Athiya Shetty married cricketer KL Rahul in January 2023. However, in a recent interview, Suniel Shetty named Virat Kohli as his favorite cricketer, surprising many people.

"My favorite cricketer... today's time... definitely Virat Kohli," Suniel Shetty said in an interview with Niharika NM at Money Control's Creator Economy Summit.

When Niharika NM expressed surprise, Suniel Shetty explained that KL Rahul is his son and family, and he doesn't talk about family.

Suniel Shetty's admiration for Virat Kohli is well-known. He has often praised Kohli's batting skills and his ability to chase down targets. In an earlier interview, Suniel Shetty had said that Kohli is the "master of chasing."
