Introduction
Under the PM Vishwakarma scheme, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has initiated the Training of Master Trainers and Assessors programme. Scheduled at the National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) from November 6th-10th, 2023, this five-day residential training is tailored to empower artisans and craftsmen in specific trades. The program targets 41 master trainers hailing from 10 states, namely Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, and Chhattisgarh, as indicated in the official release.

In a significant stride towards skill enhancement, the Master Trainers Training Programme has been introduced to empower seasoned trainers with cutting-edge technological expertise and entrepreneurial wisdom. Moreover, participants can avail credit support up to Rs. 3,00,000, along with incentives for engaging in digital transactions. Furthermore, the program extends its support by providing marketing and branding assistance through the National Committee of Marketing (NCM), fostering a comprehensive ecosystem for skill development and economic empowerment.
